And they solve a particular problem (which is as old as the hills). An innovative “relief system” of practically placed zips enable you to take a comfort break - without the need to remove your warm, upper body layers. Sounds simple, but on a frosty winter morning, it’s the sort of thing that makes a big difference.

The fabric is 100% waterproof (with a high Hydrostatic Head of 20,000mm) and extremely breathable; it’s also lightweight and, for a waterproof this tough, relatively soft and really comfortable to wear.

Durable patches on the knees offer increased abrasion and tear resistance. Two waterproof, zipped thigh pockets and a large, zipped chest pocket offer plenty of secure storage space for everyday items and tools.

A semi-elasticated waist and elasticated braces fine-tune the fit, seal in the warmth and keep the rain where it belongs - on the outside.
